    Love using props in class? So do I.  When using props in class it is incredibly important to understand why you are adding the prop, not just adding it because you saw someone else use it that way. In this quick online course, Mica will cover the following information:

    The why behind the movement must be known before adding a prop. What purpose does this prop serve in this exercise? 

     How limiting props can help you become more creative. 

    Suggestions for purchasing props if I had a limited budget in a studio.

    Mica O'Dell 

    Mica is a 25+ year veteran of the fitness industry.  She first started teaching group fitness classes as an intern at age 16.  She quickly figured out that fitness was her calling and went on to earn her degree in Kinesiology from the University of Arkansas. She has always believed that movement is medicine, and she has been sharing that philosophy while getting people moving all over the world.

    She has worked many positions in the fitness industry including instructor, personal trainer, club manager, master trainer, international fitness conference presenter, program director, and now as owner of Barre Intensity®.  Her passion and commitment to always learning has helped her find new ways to motivate, educate, and get people moving over the years.
